Authorizations is InstaPull’s utility credential management application where the platform will securely store credentials linked to utility accounts and meters.  Every utility account in the InstaPull platform requires an Authorization to pull data and the process steps are critical to compliance.

Included in this article will be the steps for setting up an Authorization in the InstaPull app on Edge.

General steps:

As you go through these steps, the page will prompt you to what it needs based on the utility.

1. Go into your InstaPull application on the Edge site

   

2. Click on Authorizations

   1. Click Add Authorization

      

   2. Select the organization

   3. Select the utility

   4. Attach the accounts to the Authorization

   5. Based on the utility, the page will ask you to do the following:

      1. Enter the customer email
      2. Enter the customer’s credentials manually
      3. Or if its National Grid NY/Smart Meter Texas utilities
